Description
This is a large dragon scale, shimmering with a hue that matches the elemental affinity of the Dragonborn who possesses it. The scale is mounted on a leather strap, allowing it to be worn as an amulet or attached to armor.
Effect
Elemental Affinity: Once per long rest, the Dragonborn can use their Breath Weapon ability without expending the usual resource for it. When used in this way, the Breath Weapon's damage is increased by an additional die (e.g., from 2d6 to 3d6).
Ancestral Wisdom: Once per long rest, the Dragonborn can enter a meditative state while holding the scale, tapping into the wisdom of their draconic ancestors. During this time, they gain advantage on one Wisdom or Intelligence check related to lore, history, or strategy.
